Terms of Service
1. Scope
These Terms govern use of Sagoræ, an online novel-writing workspace operated from France, and its paid subscriptions. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service
Sagoræ provides a writing editor, novel-planning tools, character and location records, story structure, statistics, community features, exports, and AI-powered coaching tools. AI coaches provide feedback and checks; they do not guarantee literary, factual, or legal accuracy.
3. Account eligibility
You must provide a valid email address and protect your credentials. The service is intended for users aged 15 or older. Minors require permission from a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
4. Plans and pricing
The Discovery plan is free. Paid plans are displayed before checkout and may be billed monthly or annually. Prices, taxes, currencies, included AI credits, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Stripe securely processes payment information; Sagoræ does not store card details.
5. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew until canceled. You may cancel from Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Your writing is not deleted when a subscription ends and remains available subject to the limits of the free plan.
6. User content
You retain ownership of your writing. Publishing something to the community grants Sagoræ a limited, non-exclusive license to display it within the service. Illegal, hateful, defamatory, infringing, or abusive content is prohibited and may be removed.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintain periodic exports of important manuscripts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to fees paid during the preceding twelve months.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections in your country or state continue to apply. The parties will first seek an amicable resolution before litigation.
